We read different stories set in autumn and looked at information texts to find out about what happens in Autumn. We talked about things that happen as we move from summer to autumn and explored the outdoor space to look for those signs too. 

Over time, we created a mind map to show what we learnt.

The children have also been exploring different painting techniques, learning about the different ways we can print as we paint autumn trees, squirrel tails and hedgehog spines. We also practised our colour mixing as we painted an autumnal sunset and a silhouette of a tree.
