Stonewall
Teaching staff recently undertook training provided by Lichfield Diocese through the Stonewall Organisation.
This session was a Train the Trainer session and allows them to train all teaching and non-teaching staff at school. The school community have all now received this training. Stonewall has a particular focus on preventing homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying. At Holy Trinity the safety, welfare and well-being of all of our children is our key priority. We actively promote values of respect and equality and work to ensure that difference and diversity is celebrated across the whole school community. We want to enable our children to become responsible citizens to prepare them for life in 21st century Britain. One of our core school values is koinonia (a Greek word meaning community, family, belonging) and we strive to develop our children’s understanding of bullying and the different forms it can take. We work on the principle of ‘all different, all equal’ and fostering a respectful and throughout attitude towards difference.
