Year 5 collected leaves from the school garden.  We then took a square of material each and placed a leaf inside.  Then we used a stone to repeatedly hit the cloth.  After a time, we opened the folded cloth to reveal  the impression which was made.  This techniques originates in Japan and is called hamma zone.
